Kurniadi Ahmad Wijaya

Forward Deployed AI Engineer

Current role: Technical Consultant, Software & AI, Metrodata (PT Mitra Integrasi Informatika), Feb 2026

I am open to freelance or part-time work in software and AI engineering. kurniadiahmadwijaya@gmail.com

I am a Forward Deployed AI Engineer based in Jakarta, with 4+ years of experience building production systems for digital banking, fintech and enterprise SaaS. Since February 2026, I have led the delivery of Azure-native AI platforms at Metrodata for 12+ enterprise clients in sectors such as banking, automotive, mining, food manufacturing and consumer health. The work includes multi-agent RAG assistants, realtime voice agents, document AI and AI code security. Before that, I built backends and full-stack products for e-commerce, travel, SaaS and digital banking, including roles at MNC, Jatis and Jenius. I make LLM systems reliable in production through evaluation, guardrails and observability.

I define each feature in a written spec with acceptance criteria. GitHub Copilot, Claude Code and Codex implement much of the code in parallel; I remain responsible for design, review, verification in a deployed environment and the merge. I use gold sets, A/B tests, CI gates and shadow mode to evaluate changes, and report metrics with their measurement method. Exact logic stays in deterministic code, and an LLM feature is done only when it is evaluated, guarded and observable.

    JagaRupa

I built JagaRupa to turn small sellers' real product photos into campaign images consistent with their brand. The workflow passes a brief through art director, brand guardian and copywriter agents, with a critique loop and checks against Indonesian marketplace rules. Text and logos are composited in code, never rendered by the model. I delivered it solo through 15 feature specs, directing a GitHub Copilot coding agent.
